For your enjoyment, a free short story has been published here on TheDamningMoths.com. You are invited to enjoy Greenflame, a curious tale of the creature only known as Phooka. Fans of The Damning Moths will quickly recognise the setting, while newcomers to the Anecdota are given the opportunity to slip into a magical pocket of Gantiri.
These brief stories are incredible fun, and several more are already being drafted for similar purposes. We have been looking into the possibility of offering individual short stories as ebooks and collectable miniature paperbacks for the die-hard fans – it’s no secret just how much Ashlee loves collectable things. In the future, once the combined word count of these short stories reaches the equivalent of a novel, a compilation will most certainly be released in both formats.
Ashlee is in the midst of writing the next book, relishing in the unfortunate events to befall all our favourite characters. Many of you have asked for a more definitive date of when to expect the elusive Book Two, but we cannot know at this stage when the second volume of the Snowflesh Trilogy will be published. We are just as eager to have the tale ready and released, but all in good time, dear reader. Thank you for your ongoing support and enthusiasm!
